Operation Europe Inc, dba OExplora

TOUR PRICES

Pricing is agreed for each tour according to the number of participants and the tour inclusions.  Changes in passenger numbers, rooming lists of alteration of any inclusions will necessitate repricing.  Upon receipt of final payment, prices will not increase.  Prior to the receipt of final payment, prices are subject to change without notice due to:

PAYMENTS

Unless otherwise agreed, final payment is due 45 days prior to departure in US Dollars, free of any bank service charges.  Checks should be made payable to "Operation Europe Business Trust Account".  Earlier deposits may be required, for example to secure airline seats, hotel accommodations, event tickets or other services. These deposits may or may not be refundable – you will be advised client at the time of request for payment.  We will not make any non-refundable deposits to suppliers without your prior agreement.

 AIR TRANSPORTATION & CANCELLATION

When included, flights booked on regularly scheduled IATA carriers are subject to change without notice. Cancellation and change fees are levied by the airline according to the prevailing fare rules.  Beyond these charges, we will add an administrative fee of $50 per person. Most international and many domestic airfares are non-refundable once issued, and changes may not be permitted or may involve expensive fees. Please note that most airlines require passenger names to match the name shown in the passenger's passport.  Name changes or corrections may not be permitted or may result in a fee.

 ACCOMMODATION

The property management determines all room assignments unless previously agreed. Special requests are welcome but cannot be guaranteed. If the lodging originally requested is not available, a substitute will be offered and will be of a similar category whenever possible. Accommodation standards are subjective: our opinion may differ from yours or from ratings you see elsewhere.  On occasion, some facilities or services may not be available at the time of stay due to renovations or other causes.  We strive to offer the most up to date information at the time of booking but cannot be held responsible for minor inaccuracies that may occur.

 PASSPORT & VISAS

It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain necessary travel documents including valid passports & visas. For American citizens, requirements of the countries to be visited can be obtained from the State Department's website at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages.html . Citizens of other countries are advised to contact their consulate or embassy. Some countries require passports to be valid for 3 or 6 months beyond the intended return date.

 NOT INCLUDED

Any items not specifically named in the quotation, including but not limited to meals, drinks, laundry, tips, telephone calls and any other items of a personal nature.

 INSURANCE

We recommend most strongly that each client purchase insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellation or interruption, baggage loss or delay and other expenses.  Insurance should be purchased at the time of initial booking, and policies should be checked carefully for proper coverage, especially so-called “cancel for any reason” policies.

 REFUNDS

Requests for refunds for omitted or incomplete services must be sent in writing to OExplora no later than 60 days after completion of travel. Clients must include any relevant documentation and allow at least 6 weeks for processing. Refunds will be made to the group organizer, not to individual clients. Any non-refundable deposits made will be forfeited. Refunds for prepaid items (airline tickets, rail tickets, theater or event tickets) will be made according to the terms and conditions of the supplier, less an administrative charge of $50.00 per person per occurrence levied by OExplora.

CANCELLATIONS – ENTIRE GROUP

Any non-refundable deposits made to suppliers will be forfeited.  Additionally, cancellations made within 45 days of departure will incur a charge equal to 20% of the total invoice amount.  No refund will be made for groups cancelled within 30 days of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020), we will make every effort to refund all monies received.  However, should we be unable to obtain refunds of payments made to any of our suppliers, we cannot be held responsible for the return of those funds and they will be considered forfeited.

CANCELLATIONS BY INDIVIDUAL GROUP MEMBERS

At any time, if a participant’s cancellation would result in an increase in the cost per person to be borne by the remaining group members, no refund will be made.  No refund will be made for cancellation within 30 days of departure.
